Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)

  • 1 tablespoon lavender peppercorns, cracked

  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)

Steps

  1. Mix the cracked lavender peppercorns and salt.

  2. Pat steaks dry and rub both sides evenly with the lavender peppercorn mixture.

  3. Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  4. Add steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time as needed.

  5. In the last 2 minutes, add butter, garlic, and rosemary to the pan, spooning the melted butter over the steaks.

  6. Remove steaks from pan and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 teaspoon dried lavender buds

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a small bowl, combine lavender buds, cracked lavender peppercorns, and salt.
