Ingredients
2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)
1 tablespoon lavender peppercorns, cracked
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, smashed
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
Steps
Mix the cracked lavender peppercorns and salt.
Pat steaks dry and rub both sides evenly with the lavender peppercorn mixture.
Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time as needed.
In the last 2 minutes, add butter, garlic, and rosemary to the pan, spooning the melted butter over the steaks.
