Greetings from the Farm!Many of you have reached out to ask why we aren't open to visitors this summer, as we have been since 2020. We wanted to share what's changing—and, more importantly, what isn't. Our property is nearly 200 acres, with about three acres planted in lavender. While we've loved sharing the farm with thousands of visitors and tourists to the region each summer, managing the multiple buildings, the land, and the visitor experience has become a full-time endeavor of its own. Combined with the increasing challenge of obtaining affordable insurance and the realities of operating a seasonal business, we've made the decision to sell the farm and begin a new chapter on a smaller property. Good News! Colorado Mountain Lavender isn't going away. We will continue creating the personal wellness and culinary products you've come to enjoy. Our products are always available through our website at co-mtn-lav.com, and as we expand partnerships with local retailers, we'll keep our website updated with new locations where you can shop in person. While we'll miss farming from this beautiful location that has been such a blessing to steward, we're excited about what's ahead. We'll carry forward years of experience growing lavender at high elevation, understanding the difference between premium lavender essential oil and commodity oil, and developing quality products that highlight real lavender with minimal, natural ingredients.
